Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy, the world's top three players, have been grouped together for the opening two rounds of the US Open at Pinehurst No. 2.
The trio are the headline group in North Carolina this week, with the action getting underway on Thursday. It represents a daunting grouping for McIlroy, who will play alongside the winners of the two major championships so far this year, but the Ulsterman is sure to relish the challenge of playing alongside the world's best.
McIlroy, Scheffler and Schauffele are in the late-early wave, teeing off at 6.14pm BST on Thursday before beginning their second rounds at 12.29pm on Friday. The 12.40pm tee time is also sure to be thrilling viewing, with Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Brooks Koepka, all winners of multiple majors, teeing off together.

Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2022 US Open champion, will play with Tiger Woods and Will Zalatoris. LIV Golf star Jon Rahm will play with Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth, if the Spaniard can overcome a foot injury.
Reigning US Open champion Wyndham Clark, who edged out McIlroy by a single shot at Los Angeles Country Club a year ago, will play with Brian Harman, the Champion Golfer of the Year after his triumph at Hoylake, and US Amateur champion Nick Dunlap. Here are Thursday's tee times in full...
