Small Self Storage Units
Small Self Storage Units range from 5x5 to 5x15. The compact 5x5 unit is similar to a small closet, perfectly fitting a few medium-sized moving boxes, a dresser, and a small bookshelf. On the larger end, the 5x15 unit offers a walk-in closet space, ideal for storing a sofa, mattresses, and several large moving boxes from a one-bedroom apartment.
Medium Self Storage Units
Medium Self Storage Units spanning 10x10 to 10x15, are designed for substantial storage needs. The 10x10 option, comparable to half of a standard one-car garage, holds contents from two bedrooms, including nightstands, bedframes, mattresses, dressers, and assorted moving boxes. For larger storage requirements, the 10x15 unit, akin to a small one-car garage, provides plenty of space for three bedrooms of furniture or an entire medium-sized apartment's belongings.
Large Self Storage Units
Large Self Storage Units can be offered in sizes of 10x20, 10x25, and 10x30, providing ample space for larger items. The 10x20 unit, comparable to a standard one-car garage, is ideal for storing the contents of a small house or multi-bedroom apartment, such as full living room and kitchen sets, along with two bedrooms' worth of furniture. The 10x25 unit, similar to an oversized one-car garage, can comfortably fit a car or furniture from a medium-sized home, encompassing bedroom sets, appliances, and whole living and dining room sets. The 10x30 unit, mirroring a one-and-a-half car garage, is spacious enough to store belongings from a 5-bedroom house, including large appliances, TVs, sofas, dining and bedroom sets, and a substantial number of large boxes.
Do I need Insurance?
Yes, insurance is a requirement for any storage unit. If you have homeowners or renter's insurance, it may also extend to your storage unit. Please check your coverage with your agent to see whether storage coverage is included or can be added to your policy. If you do not have your insurance, we require SBOA Tenant Insurance for your items. It is recommended that customers utilize our plan even if they are using their homeowners or renter's policy, as it prevents your insurance premiums from going up in the event of a claim and pays out prior to insurance claims.
Is Month to Month Leasing Offered?
All leases we offer are month-to-month. Whether you only need storage for a month or longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments. While you are welcome to utilize your storage unit for less than a month, prepayment of one month is required and will not be prorated if your use is less than one month.
What documents do I need to reserve a storage unit?
A valid driver's license or Government-issued photo ID is required to rent a unit.
Is There Anything I Can't Store?
Certain items cannot be stored in your storage unit at ANY time. Here is the following list of things:
- Perishables
- Food Items, including canned/sealed goods – even water bottles
- Animals
- Stolen Property
- Hazardous or Flammable Materials
- Drugs
- Explosives/Firearms/Ammunition
- Unregistered Vehicles
- People/Yourself, i.e., seeking shelter from a storage unit
- Anything Illegal
How can I pay my rent each month for my storage unit?
We offer many convenient ways to pay at our locations: automatic payments can be set up, credit card, check, and cash; online, in-person, and phone payments.
What is the difference between access hours and office hours?
Access hours are when our customers can access their units and either load or unload them. Office hours are the hours our office is open for business. Things that you may need during office hours include rent payment – should you opt to pay in person – purchase of additional moving supplies, and transferring or vacating a unit.

I've been here since 2010 and have never regretted using their free truck offer to move in! First of all, my garage looks awesome. No Christmas trees or decorations stored overhead or in corners! Secontly, my kids have come home and moved out numerously during the pandemic and the extra space has made that fluid environment a non event. Finally, the staff has helped me save money at every turn. Whether with insurance help, or storage size advise, or just friendly reminders of upcoming hours, they make the difference! We rented a large, climate-controlled unit, with indoor access, for about 10 years. I believe it was a 10' x 8'. The facility is maintained very well; clean, no signs of pests or rodents, etc. Never had an issue with access to the facility, always felt safe when on-site - entry requires a personalized code and the keypad and gate were maintained well. One great bonus was that the facility provided a panel moving truck FREE of charge for us to use for move-in. For a family without a truck, that was a huge benefit. Every person I ever dealt with on-site was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that the price increases on our unit were regular and steep; it became prohibitively expensive to keep the unit. We'd see specials to attract new "tenants", which is understandable; however, keeping folks who have rented for years in place also makes some good business sense, as moving out of a unit one has had so long is time-consuming and one has to consider where all of the stuff will be moved to. The cost for our unit monthly increased to almost $170.00 per month and we could no longer justify the expense. Loyalty breaks on pricing, free month every year, etc....all those things might help keep long-term renters in place and provide somewhat of a break on monthly cost to renters.

Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. Access to storage unit is simple to use. However, exiting the property was a bit awkward as the gate would not open using my access code. Had to go to office door which was locked, fortunately a woman was inside. She said they had probably left, and opened the gate for me to exit. Strange, as it was only 2pm on a Thursday. Have to say that made me a little uncomfortable.

Too easy. Stress-free storage option in a good part of town and climate controlled. I do wish their were lights in each unit though. Hallway lighting doesn't make it into the larger units indoors. But, lights would drive up rent so I didn't mind wearing a headlamp. Good work and good facility.

I have had a storage locker at Fletcher Heights for almost 10 years. I chose a small air-conditioned space to store my excess teacher materials. The entire time I had this locker, it was well maintained clean and yes...cool for all my heat sensitive items (think crayons in the Arizona heat) The staff was friendly and helpful each time I needed them. My children have each used the facility as they were moving out and needed some extra garage space. I highly recommend this facility!

Office staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful! Storage unit was very clean and had a clean smell. Climate control unit was very comfortable. This all is very important to me because I was using another storage facility that had an old mold smell and it was too warm to be a climate control storage.
